The Best the Italian food in town! Love the food and love the people here even more. The bartender Marcella makes the best espresso Martini in town. Beautiful restaurant, food was amazing and portions were huge for such good prices. Staff were great and accommodating. Highly recommended and will be returning on our next trip to Scarborough.
We loved this restaurant, very friendly and welcoming Italian hostess with the mostess! We both had the lasagne which was delicious despite an earlier review, tiramisu was “the best” as was the espresso martini. We both sampled the Italian brandy which was one of the nicest brandy’s we’ve ever tasted. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or return!
Booked a table here whilst having a night away in Scarborough, I was a bit dubious after reading the bad reviews but I’m so glad I went the atmosphere was lovely , a proper traditional Italian feel , we were seated at our table very quickly and offered drinks , we were given plenty of time to view the menu , the food was amazing probably the best garlic bread and pizza I’ve ever had . The waiter who served us (I think his name was Ethan) was brilliant and definitely a credit to the restaurant. We couldn’t believe the price it is so reasonable and a lot cheaper than the bigger chain Italian whose food isn’t a patch on this place. Will definitely be coming back again.
After much deliberation in the dinner department, a decision to dine at Tricolos was reached. Oh! What a lovely place! As soon as you enter the Mediterranean themed Italian restaurant, you are greeted by the stunning decorations of balconies overhanging the main seating area, gorgeous tiles peeking through the time kissed walls, and stunning bright stained glass windows shining from behind rustic blue shutters; not to mention the beautiful smell of the food being prepared in the family run kitchen. We enjoyed a lovely spaghetti bolognese as well as a tagliatelle pollo, and a side of delicious garlic cheesy bread. The staff are incredibly welcoming and set out an atmosphere like no other; if you find yourself in Scarborough looking for a lovely place to eat, either as a couple or with your family, Tricolos without a doubt has to make it onto your radar!

absolutely love the food here ...staff warm friendly. food well presented and good value plenty to choose from on the menu... nice decor inside ...would definitely recommend going here if you get the chance...definitely go again thankyou to all the staff...
We were a little disappointed that we could not get through on the phone, so decided to just show up. We were greeted with a lady finding that strange as she had the phone most of the night, so showed her the attempted calls. She sent us away for an hour and squeezed us which we thought was pretty good. Definately worth a visit, the staff are lovely and even on such a busy night they all were extremely smiley. A big high five to the front of house lady (blonde hair) as she works like a trojan, front of house, server, clears away, takes orders! Total asset. Thank you for feeding us xx
